By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

ADULT RIDE WAIVER

By signing this form for myself, I, ____________________________________, understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows: I acknowledge that cycling can be a dangerous sport and that I participate in any North Florida Bicycle Club, Inc. (NFBC) event at my own risk. In consideration of my participation in the any NFBC event, I release, hold harmless, forever discharge, and indemnify, the NFBC, its members, officers, co-sponsors, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability claims, losses, cost, expense, or attorneys’ fees and legal costs arising directly or indirectly from any accident or omission of any such person or organization, including intentional or negligent acts or omissions of the Released Parties. This includes all claims known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen of bodily injury, personal injury, and loss of life. If any provision of this release and waiver, for any reason and to any extent, is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, to be invalid or unenforceable, neither the remainder of this release and waiver nor the application of the provision to other persons, entities or circumstances shall be affected thereby, but instead shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Minor Ride Release & Waiver

By signing this form for my minor child participant, I understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows: I acknowledge that cycling can be a dangerous sport and that my child participates in any North Florida Bicycle Club, Inc. (NFBC) event at his/her own risk. In consideration of my child’s participation in any NFBC event, I release, hold harmless, and forever discharge the NFBC, its members, officers, co-sponsors, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability claims, losses, cost, expense, or attorneys’ fees and legal costs arising directly or indirectly from any accident or omission of any such person or organization, including intentional or negligent acts or omissions of the Released Parties. NOTICE TO THE MINOR CHILD'S NATURAL GUARDIAN

READ THIS FORM COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. YOU ARE AGREEING TO LET YOUR MINOR CHILD ENGAGE IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY. YOU ARE AGREEING THAT, EVEN IF NORTH FLORIDA BICYCLE CLUB, INC. USES REASONABLE CARE IN PROVIDING THIS ACTIVITY, THERE IS A CHANCE YOUR CHILD MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY BECAUSE THERE ARE CERTAIN DANGERS INHERENT IN THE ACTIVITY WHICH CANNOT BE AVOIDED OR ELIMINATED. BY SIGNING THIS FORM YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR CHILD'S RIGHT AND YOUR RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM NORTH FLORIDA BICYCLE CLUB, INC. IN A LAWSUIT FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, TO YOUR CHILD OR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM THE RISKS THAT ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE ACTIVITY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SIGN THIS FORM, AND NORTH FLORIDA BICYCLE CLUB, INC. HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO LET YOUR CHILD PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM.

North Florida Bicycle Club Code of Conduct

The North Florida Bicycle Club has adopted this Code of Conduct to promote safe cycling, courtesy and good sportsmanship. For the privilege of participating in Club activities, each member shall affirm acceptance of this Code. Failure to maintain this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or revocation of membership.

Safety

1. Have a bicycle in good working condition including functioning brakes.
2. Wear a helmet whenever riding.
3. Obey all applicable Florida Statutes including stopping at stop signs and for right turn on red and using Florida approved hand signals for turns, slowing and stopping.
4. Ride predictably.
5. Call out road hazards and other dangers to other cyclists in the group.
6. Call out and only pass another cyclist on the left side.
7. Do not cross or overlap wheels with another cyclist in a pace line.
8. Do not ride under the influence of any substance.Heed ride leader’s instructions. Courtesy
9. Recognize that as a participant in club activities that you represent the Club to other cyclists, motorists, government officials and the general public.
10. Avoid confrontation with motorists, other cyclists or pedestrians even if they are in the wrong.

Good sportsmanship

1. Respect other cyclists even if they are not Club members.
2. Refrain from the use of foul language, obscene gestures, physical or verbal abuse of or malicious actions towards any person or any lewd behavior.

This code cannot comprehensively address all possible scenarios. Rather it should function as a standard of behaviors implemented along with common sense and the principle of what a reasonable person would do in a similar situation.

Social Media and Anti-Harassment Policy

Applies but not restricted to North Florida Bicycle Club (NFBC) website including forums and blogs, NFBC Facebook page, NFBC Durbin Crossing Facebook page, Yahoo Sriders group, One Road Campaign website and Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and other photo-sharing sites, Club emails and any other site or application used for Club-related communication.

Responsible/appropriate use

All references in this Policy to "We", "Us" or "Our" are North Florida Bicycle Club.  By contributing any material to any of these sites or applications, you agree to abide by this Policy, which supplements our Privacy Policy.  Any message posted on any of these sites or applications expresses only the views of the author of that message and does not necessarily reflect our views or the views of any other person on the site or application.

Content Standards

When posting contributions to any of these sites or applications, you must comply with the spirit of the following standards as well as the letter. These standards apply to each part of any contribution as well as to its whole.

While contributions to any of these sites or applications may not be moderated, they are monitored. Users not willing to follow simple rules of etiquette will not be allowed to participate. Participants should treat each other with respect, recognizing their right to freedom of opinion and expression.

Contributions to any of these sites or forums must not:

• be defamatory (a defamatory comment is one that may damage the reputation of a person or organization);

• be political in nature or discuss politics as these can inflame and create tensions;

• be threatening, abusive, harassing or invasive of a person's privacy;

• be sexist, racist, profane, blasphemous, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory and/or offensive;

• promote violence or advocate, condone or assist any unlawful act;

• describe violent intentions towards other people or organizations;

• be pornographic , sexually explicit, obscene or lewd;

• be used to impersonate any person or to misrepresent your identity;

• infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark or any other intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights of any person or organization; or

• otherwise violate any law.

In addition, your contribution must not post a link to a website that contains, or directly links to, material that contravenes any of these standards. In particular, you must not post a link to:

• offensive material (pornographic, discriminatory or gratuitously violent); or

• unlawful material (such as material that condones or encourages unlawful acts, breaches intellectual property law or encourages others to do so, hacks or causes technical disruption to online services or describes how to conduct an unlawful act).

By submitting your contribution any of these sites or applications you warrant that such contribution fulfills the above Content Standards. You also agree to indemnify us against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be named by us as a result of your breach of this warranty.

Advertising, promotion and commerce

Advertisements (except as accepted by NFBC for publication), chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are unacceptable entries on any of these sites or applications.

You may not use any of these sites or applications for commercial purposes or for making a profit or for a profitable venture other than listing a private item for sale.

Copyright and ownership of user generated media content

Do not submit or include in your submission any copyright material without the express permission of the copyright holder. We do not accept liability for copyright breaches you commit, and will remove any offending entries at the request of the rights holder.
